A summer refresh for Jumbo’s Leisure quarter

The public areas of Jumbo’s Leisure quarter will be refreshed during the summer. The work began at the end of June and will be completed by the end of September. The result will be an even more integrated, comfortable and welcoming Jumbo.

The project that started in Jumbo’s Leisure quarter at the end of June continues the work of harmonising the look and feel of the shopping centre’s public areas. This was already carried out on a larger scale as part of the More Jumbo-like renewal, completed at the end of 2024.

During the project, which will continue until the end of September, several elements in the Leisure quarter will be updated, including floor and wall tiles, lighting, suspended ceilings and handrails. The work will mainly take place on the second floor of the Leisure quarter.

The renewal work will be carried out in a way that causes as little inconvenience to our customers as possible. The construction area will be safely sectioned off with protective fencing, but thanks to clear signage, moving around and visiting the Leisure quarter will remain easy and smooth. Demolition work and other noisy work will primarily be carried out outside the shopping centre’s opening hours. All shops and services in the Leisure quarter will remain open as usual throughout the renovation.
